Omega Men (IYLC Team) from various regions of the United States and across the globe will facilitate the free workshops. Past workshops include and were not limited to; self-esteem enhancement, goal setting and academic success, health and wellness, Manhood 101, financial literacy, social and personal responsibility, civic engagement, family unity, Black history, and conflict resolution.

For the purpose of the virtual platform, three workshops from the aforementioned will be presented. Subject Matter experts from industries ranging from Agriculture to Zoology (A-Z) will facilitate the workshops.

Cecilia R. Bailey

Cecilia R. Bailey currently serves as Vice President, Financial Education Manager for Community Affairs at Regions Bank.  Ms. Bailey began her career in banking, and at the bank, in June 2014.  In her current role, she is responsible for fostering community partnerships and strategic delivery of the Regions Next Step financial education brand throughout the bank’s 15-state footprint.  She also developed and manages the Next Step Ambassador Program, which trains non-branch Regions associates to facilitate financial education seminars. She has a true passion for teaching and has served as a subject matter expert (SME) on the topic of personal finance in addition to obtaining her Certified Financial Educator® (CFEd ®) designation, that is recognized by FINRA. 

Ms. Bailey received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in Chicago and later earned a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago.  She has more than 20 years’ experience in the area of personal finance, non-profit management, and community development. 

She is a native Chicagoan and in her spare time loves to travel, bargain hunt and share new experiences with friends and family.
